Facilities

The BEELab facilities consist of the experimental laboratory and a recruitment database.

The laboratory consists of two rooms separated by a removable wall. The rooms contain 13 and 20 computer terminals, respectively. In addition, there is a small briefing room at the entrance to the lab with 16 seats, a whiteboard, and a projector.

The terminals are HP Small Form Factor Business PCs connected via a local area network and to the internet. All terminals are equipped with 24-inch wide screens and headsets. They run Windows 11. Usually we use ztree ↗, ztree-unleashed ↗, otree ↗ or Qualtrics ↗. Other software may be installed. The computers are maintained by SBE’s IT support group, ACO.

For the recruitment of experiment participants, we use ORSEE ↗, developed by Ben Greiner.

In case you need more advanced technologies, like eye-tracking, EEG, or immersive technologies, we refer you to the DEXLab ↗ which is run by SBE's Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
